My history is not what it used to be but I think the October revolution was only in October by the Julian calendar. We in the west were using the Gregorian calendar which meant that it was actually in November

I do know that the hundred years war did not last 100 years but I cant remember exactly how long it was. I think it was a bit longer, something like 105-107 years.
