Have not worked since the 20th inclusive and back on the 3rd - so be safe to all those who are working, and a happy and prosperous new year to one and all.

Yes Happy 2009 folks. Image

I made the mistake of working last night, FFS you couldn’t organise more gridlocked traffic if you tried, the meter was going to £50 for journeys that would normally cost £30 (and we don't charge double time)

There wasn't a road within 2 miles of central London that was open, you can only imagine the chaotic result.

Whilst the cash I took was blinding, I can safely say never ever again unless a better traffic management system is introduced.

New Year's Eve.
Westminster Bridge and Victoria Embankment closed at 6pm (6 hours before midnight...) and was told they wouldn't open until 2am.
To be a taxi driver you need three things.
1. A Taxi.
2. A passenger(s)
3. A route from A to B
As I couldn't get 3,I gave up and went home...and I wasn't the only one.
Hence GBC's blinding night.

By the way can anyone find out how much did the fireworks fiasco and policing cost?

I can work out who pays...

did i break any rules?

1.called to a house by a lady, she and a mate+kids got in, went home, she paid me to go back for hubbies

2.got back, 2 others got in, set off, wrong couple....they paid, but wasnt booked!

3.went back, couldnt find hubbies (trip 1) but then 1 came out and paid me again, but didnt travel, i think he had pulled

then i went home (2,30am)
