:) :) :)

Hi all,

Got my driving assessment test later this week with the local licensing office as part of my Hackney Licence application.

Can anyone tell me, are these a full blown driving test e.g. 10 to 2 hands feed the wheel through, mirror, mirror mirror type of affair or just 40 minutes of driving the assessor around without killing him?

Thanks in advance.

I would be surprised if it was that detailed, else they would ensure you did the DSA taxi test.

I suspect it's more along the lines of you going the way he says i.e. going left and right when a customer indicates that, and not driving at 200mph and stopping in a controlled manner.

Just drive as if you had just had your knackers off.

Most driving instructors can advise on this, thats why I suppose its sensible to pay a few quid and have a couple of refresher lessons.

What!!! you need a couple of lessons for someone to say "just drive as if you had just had your knackers off."
