Post subject:  Tittle tattle
One of my colleagues was talking to a Tristar driver at Heathrow yesterday.

The Tristar driver was claiming that he and five collegues have been fine 1K for not wearing their badges on the outside of the their jackets.

This seems rather 'pie in the sky', but shall I dig my badge out of the glovebox.

I'm not sure the fine would be that high, but if it went to court with costs for six seperate charges, maybe.

But my money is on your 'pie in the sky' theory? :wink:

I don't know about the fine but as far as I'm aware your badge is supposed to be worn so it can be seen, hence the chain shackle that goes around your neck to attach it to :D

Taxi drivers badge its stuck next to the rear view mirror and all can see it when they get in my Skoda.
The taxi inspector even said it was a good idea :D

Our council said I had to wear mine on my shackle chain and the one for my car which is the same scary picture but green background has to be placed in my vehicle so everybody can see it. I have people sticking their head in my face to see if that's what I look like.
