Hi Jim, I have taken the liberty of grouping the entirety of your 12 posts together. The reason I have done this is because although you aimed most of your posts in my direction apart from your single foray into the scottish section, your posts to me at least appear to lack clarity. If you wan't to pick one of your posts below to which you wish me to respond then I shall endeavour to accomodate you? Regards JD 1. Mon Feb 16, 2009 9:29 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand Hiya Everybody. First time poster so forgive me if I feck up. I have read the site for years but never get involved because: (a) I am to computers as Cyril Smith is to hang gliding and Charles is to coherant speech (b) I am either working, sleeping or shagging when you guys are on this site and (c) I can fall out and argue in an empty room let alone a chat room. But I felt I had to post something........ 2. Mon Feb 16, 2009 9:40 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand Hiya, I can keep my hands in my pockets but they do have holes in!!! Have I missed something with JD? 3. Mon Feb 16, 2009 9:51 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand Was JD not an avid anti plate restriction kind of a guy when this site first started??? 4. Mon Feb 16, 2009 9:56 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand What circumstances could have caused such a mellowing??? Is it another case of N.I.M.B.Y??? 5. Mon Feb 16, 2009 10:04 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand Toots you have got to change that avatar. Cannot read your replies without thinking 'it' is actually speaking to me 6. Mon Feb 16, 2009 10:13 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand Hey Captain Cab. Watching your posts recently have been like watching a soap on tv with a kind of will he won't he theme. You sound all loved up for Toots!!! 7. Mon Feb 16, 2009 10:26 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand Notice???!!?? No you hid it so well. But getting back to my point why is JD now so against the good people of Stockport getting a licence to earn a living????? JD are you there?? 8. Mon Feb 16, 2009 10:37 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand No he didn't quite just say that. If I could retrieve the appropriate quotes I would do but I can't, so you will have to re-read his posts. But basically he is very worried about other people getting a plate 'cos it might affect his living. I think I have covered the main thrust of his argument 9. Mon Feb 16, 2009 10:43 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand You know you want to 10. Mon Feb 16, 2009 11:39 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand Nothing wrong with quality controls. But people who are against deregulation until... for instance..... they get a free plate or for some other self interest reason that would be soooooooooo wrong. And the taxi trade is soooooooo full of people who are comrades in arms until they have a change in circumstance. I just wanted to be re-assured that this was not one of those occasions. 11. Mon Feb 16, 2009 12:02 pm Open letter to Cllr Colin Keir - City of Edinburgh Council Is it true that you will soon be able to buy a TW200 as a PH as well as a hack. 12. Mon Feb 16, 2009 12:09 pm Stockport TPI survey says no unmet demand I've only heard that Churchill say "Oh yes" and his insurance quote was sh#t as well _________________________ |

Hi JD New to the site and a whole blog just for little old me? Well I do declare [best Southern Belle impression]. Am I unclean or what??
Post 3 was probably the jist of my beef with you JD. Not that I have got anything personal with you, it is just that certain things get my goat. If you ken what I am saying. I have been a frequent visitor to this site for years and it has entertained and educated me. You seem very knowledgeable about the trade and quite studious but you do seem to have an agenda [not quite on Skippy's level -sorry Skip you seem like a nice guy to share a pint with but man you are bitter and twisted on some fronts-] but an agenda none the less. When I read the Stockport thread I thought; hang on! isn't JD the man who seemed hell bent on getting rid of regulated councils a short while ago? So I wanted to ask the question, sorry if I am wide of the mark BTW, WTF is a Troll? I have seen GBH use the term but I guessed it was in relation to a person he had had issues with. Is it a person or is it terminology referring to a type of person? If it is a person, believe me it is not me...., him....., I?????? If it is a type of person what does it refer to? Cos I aint no Scandinavian dwarfe

But I could be wrong that is why I bloggedI think everyone has got an agenda, the problem is most keep them hidden. Say what anyone might like about JD, but he doesn't hide any of his views. |
