I always thought myself quite Corinthian in my attitude to my fellow cabbies, and our situation, but after a few instances of "self interest" on their part in the past couple of years, I find myself becoming more and more insular.

So I'll echo the answer of sussex, depends who.

Q1. Yeah if he's a good lad, if it's one of the dickheads then no.

Q2. If it's one of the decent operators then yes, if it's one of the greedy ones then I don't give a F**K.

I'd like to think that I'd care, but, I think it's more likely that it would depend on what they did to get shafted in the first place.

The way I feel about large ph companies I wouldn't give a toot, so to speak, if they went bust. I would of course have more sympathy for the smaller operators that are more considerate and realise that without drivers they have no business.

I have noticed that some like to complain a lot and do nothing about it or expect others to do everything to change things for them. I think it's the nature of the beast

I can see the OP's point exactly, locally it's getting so bad that ppl are barging each other out of the way to get to the next job, 2 examples, a WAV shot out of a side road infront of me last week and rolled straight onto the rank until he was told etiquete DEMANDS!!!!! he yeald to me, and on the motorway a few days ago in a 60mph zone another one was doing 90 mph past me, hilarious thing is this one is English and comes from the £300 a night clan, all that money he earns and he still has to race ppl BULLCOUGH
