![]() On reflection I'm not too sure it would do my street-cred much good if I was mentioned in a good light in said magazine.

Apart from that I get enough grief on here

OK, I've succumed. I've subscribed to a year's issues. At least that'll make a massive hole in this year's tax bill!! |

I think any reference to taxi driver online mentioned in a good light is a compliment to all concerned. If you actually look at the references to JD you will see that they were made in respect of assistance given in respect of case law and investigations into certain topics of interest such as the Fraser Eagle issue and the soiling controversy. I'm sure Captain Cab might be the first to admit that in the past and including the present, positively or otherwise that he has benefited greatly from the input of this forum by way of ideas and information and one would hope inspiration for his articles. Anyone who promotes TDO in a good light and gives credit where credit is due deserves our thanks, that’s the way I see it. Regards JD |

TDO is a good source of information and has many differing points of view, all of which are very useful when writing. Both JD and Sussex.....for our many differences of opinion.....regularly give sound advice to which I and other forum members (and peepers) benefit. Any time I mention TDO in print I now tend to run it past either of the above gentlemen who will give it if not there approval....some type of critique.....again this benefits me as I tend to go off on tangents and rip through the impartial aspect. Certainly JD has tried to get that through to me, albeit perhaps not yet quite perfected

Can I have a guest slot as well? 'The London Debate' by GBC, photography and camera action by Mr A and his Hat Cam. I could interview Terry and get his take on the London Tourist scene at Buckingham Palace, and fashions in the 1960's on Carnaby Street.

Having said that it can't be as bad as reading page after page of flamin adverts

As a relative newcomer to TDO, I find it a very informative forum; it’s nice to receive other views from everyone who attends. When I put post on the forum it’s nice to hear other people’s personal perception & the varied opinion on subjects that are relative to the things that affect the Dundee cabby. Thank you all |
