The other week one of our cabbies had his "Car Keys" taken whilst on a journey, which immobilised him. He was then beaten and robbed.
The early hours of this morning I saw a gym built type of person running away from a taxi. It turns out the driver had just picked up other passengers off of the street and was waiting for other cars to move, the muscular/gym person (who he did not know) just reached inside the open window and took the keys from the ignition.
The consequence was that the driver could not move his vehicle because he did not have his spare keys with him.
The moral or reality is.............. Do not leave your spare key home like I have always done - carry it with you .
Can you imagine the scenario of them taking your keys, then thinking that they have you/I trapped. As they say in the scouts "Be Prepared"
