Noticed over the past few weeks that the Dundee new Wav operators, have not posted.
Has the bubble burst in Dundee due to the ammount of new plates issued,
or are they finding it a tough at the moment, financially, and have to work?.
Interesting to see if the trade has levelled off,or still as healthy.
Especially with the PH company now putting on the TX11 as HC,s.

I doubt if they will be any worse off then they were before, but most will probably be significantly better off.

Let's face it, if they work a couple of nights and put in a reasonalbe amount of hours then they can't fail to make money.

Some will no doubt just work Friday Saturday and Sunday and have the rest of the week off, or maybe just Friday and Saturday.

Must move into Dundee properly, how can you survive with a 2 or 3 night shift, pay fees if you are with an office, pay the cab, running costs, including the high cost of insurance, and give yourself a wage of say £300 minimum.
Crikey must be some ammount of money to be made.
I struggle and I work long hours, thank god Spam is now being sold again.
Gives a loan Dundonian, will pay you back after I start taxi-ing in the BIG CITY.

As I said I don't live in Dundee, just have a holiday home there

But I've certainly heard of guys who do this, maybe not many, but there are some, probably working the streets rather than office cars.

If they work 4-4 Frid, Sat, Sun then they'll make more than some do for a full time job, but then again that does represent 36 hours.

I suppose it's horses for courses, and a lot of people prefer to earn a bit less but have a lot of free time.
