The problem with the new energy saver lamp is that it's nowhere near as bright as the old tungsten light bulb.

So ...... as we are about to start coming out of this recesion shortly, does that mean it's going to be a lot harder to see the light at the end of the tunnel??

Due to cost cuttings and the recession the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off

What they don’t tell us is who is paying the bill to remove the mercury after the bulb is worn out? Also what are the possible side effects of inhaling Mercury/argon gas if you accidentally smash one

Here's a few for you to mull over but I don't think you can suffer these symptoms just by inhaling mercury: psychological, neurological, and immunological problems

They are miles off the money on this. The product is more costly to manufacture, they are also missrepresenting the power consumption. You usually need the next wattage unit up to the one advertised to get the same brightness. They will also be costly to scrap. They say it will save one power stations output...mmm Dont believe a word of it :^o
