So Nick, from your post is it correct to say that there is no taxi service at present in the town/village that you are starting up in?

What size of place is it population wise and if there's no taxis based there at present then if someone wants a taxi, do they come from a neighbouring town or what?

Is there scope for rank work or would it all be pre-booked?

my burning question has to be... who is mr angel?

there is one competitor in the village itself, the nearest other competiton is in a town approx 4 miles away.

definately no scope for rank work in the village, but the town nearby can be used as a backup if no pre-bookings.

I assume the place you plan to work in is near your home in Weston Super mare?

best wishes

Nick,

using a rank in a nearby town NEVER works its a theory only, you will find your buisness builds around your location, so it will build in a nearby town.

I f I gave you my buisness plan it would take your breath away, and its not a good idea to use those of others, certainly not one from Mr Angel as you call him.

whilst you know him I could never give you mine, as Mr Angel is known for publishing confidential information.

good luck in building your buisness, diversify into services relevant to your community.

bye

Nick why did you remove your posts, it would have been better just to amend them. :-k

Now the thread looks as daft as a brush, so I've now locked it.
