FOUR TIMES AS MUCH AND FOUR TIMES THE VALUE

As you say ''If someone promises you something for nothing.....then that's about how much its worth.''

Now, now, Commie Organisation? It will be interesting to see how your support of individual members progresses. Although I would still prefer to be part of a large organisation with over 650,000 members which has the financial resourses to support its members. I do however wish you luck.

Interesting "squabble" I like Mr Hildreth and Mr Casey, both nice chaps. The GMB site is very hard on the eyes, that small orange writing makes it "busy" like Grannies old rug. I couldnt find the ££ for membership either (before my eyes hurt) from the colour scheme. I would change the template/colours.

Now for the NTA, this individual membership thing, well it is no use if you have a TOA (whether good or bad) already covering your licensing area. So you can't join the NTA as an individual even if your none too keen on your "President" of the local TOA. I understand the logic for that, but it needs to be addressed.

The taxi trade needs to be represented and too often old grudges or clashes will prevent people joining a local TOA cos Fred nicked Bobs horse in 1925 and noe he's running the TOA.

Just some thoughts ....

There are cases where individual membership is accepted in areas with existing associations, the best way is normally to apply and see what happens.

So do you only accept individual members from area's where you don't have an association?
