Or are the roads falling to bits after that bit of a cold snap? Round here there seems to be more pot holes than before.

No it's not you Nigel, and it's a national disgrace.

Some folks blame the frost, some the rain, I blame the bloody buses.

I thought it was just round here, this last few weeks they've gotten beyond a joke with all the potholes that have appeared, there's one road which has only just been re-surfaced, it's starting to come away and crumble after the frost. Mind you the Council did it so what do you expect?

If you damage your cab on one claim off the council
Take photos of the pot hole and the damage to the cab, and keep copies

Water gets into the cracks, expands and breaks up the road.

(I done Science you know)

All the holes they fixed on the A1 near Potters Bar from last years snow have now appeared again.

Plenty of holes on the A1 up at this end as well only the newly retarmaced bit near St Neots seems to have survived the trouble is they patch the holes up and don't repair them properly which means the next cold snap just breaks them up again

One pothole just cost me £150 for a snow tyre that puntured along the sidewall as I hit it...less than 1500 miles on my new Vredstein alpine tyre...theres some potholes on the Local "A" roads 5 to 6 inches deep and about 2 foot across...all appeared since the cold snap started.
