I got a guy out of a hole this morning, he was revving his car trying to get out of the street, he was getting nowhere fast, I got out and said don't touch the accelarator just let it roll on tickover, he started his engine and let the clutch out without touching the accelarator peddle, he got out of the street in no time.

WTF??

Much as I hate to say this, but I believe, from the brief view you get of the driver, as the car almost runs over this pair of idiots, that the driver is actually male.

One of the film makers also says "he's under the car". This clip is a 2nd/3rd generation version and there are links to other versions on that YouTube page, apparently including the original (from wynne1975, who has added further details) that very sadly, seem to suggest the driver may be male.

If this proves to be the case, let's agree to say he must have been completely pi$$ed at the time, rather than incompetent.

I think you'll find that if somebody is pi$$ed behind the wheel of a car they are incompetent

Admittedly, it is a subtle and possibly tenuous distinction, but it allows use of the excuse that the inability to drive is a secondary effect, caused by a primary event…or the cause is greater than the effect, as they say. This would be as oppose to it being “nature”, which would be a permanent flaw.
