Well all the monthlies have been paid this week so it's made it a decent weekend thank F**K. It's been a brutal January down here. I don't know about the rest of the country?

Started ok(ish), middle absolute pony, last week not bad at all.

Even if I am presently looking at a front flat tyre, and the wheel-brace supplied couldn't undo a button.

Thank the lord for the AA. :D

Well, I've just completed my best month this year!!

No, seriously, it has been my best month this fiscal year, ie since April. Two other months, I worked longer hours and a further two months, I worked hours that were within ten of January. So, on that basis my efforts have not been exceptional.

I think it may have been the weather that helped a lot, although I haven't noticed the traditional seasonal 'death' of the trade with cars hanging of the back of ranks for hours on end.

Having said all that, this morning was cr@p. I didn't fall into any of the regular Sunday morning work!

Hope you get your car sorted quickly, Sussex. Wife's car broke a coil spring yesterday and took out a brand new tyre with it. Thankfully, she noticed it as she was pulling away so no other damage.

You need to chill Sussex if a flat tyre makes you turn to drink to the extent that you need AA.
