We have one in Chester , the rank is on the right side of the road with a disabled loading point/island near the rear of the rank.
We are currently trying to get it relocated to the front of the rank.

is there such a thing as a Disabled Taxi Rank ? I have never heard of one and am wondering if they do exist. Our enforcement officer seems to think so. |

We have a disabled loading point at the front of one of our ranks, basically saloons cannot park on the space.......I'm not sure if its physically part of the rank anymore, but its certainly at the front. CC |

Ask him where it's written in any law or gov guidance. Methinks he is imagining things. |

I would have thought it was in the DDA, all business premises have to have disabled access, councils have raised the kerbing at bus stops so why not ranks??? |

The Woolworths store is currently being redeveloped into a Primark store due to open in May. |
