Found a wallet in the car this morning with over £400 in it, no ID, no address of owner no nothing. What are these people like? They don't deserve honest people finding them. I've left my number with the day shift office staff in case anyone phones up this morning and checks their pockets and realises that their wallet is missing along with £400 in used notes.
I can't believe anyone goes out or comes home with that amount of money on a Saturday night and doesn't realise that their wallet is missing. It's hear anyway just in case whoever's wallet it is. I wonder if I'll get a reward for being honest?? |

I hope you have handed the wallet in to the police because if you have kept it whilst you wait for the owner to collect you could be guilty of theft by finding. If you hand it in to a police station and leave your details, if it hasn't been claimed after, I think, 3 months you can claim it back. |

Got to keep hold of it for 24 hours then hand it in to the police. It states that in the rules and regs. |

I can't believe anyone goes out or comes home with that amount of money on a Saturday night and doesn't realise that their wallet is missing. And he still had £400 in his wallet AFTER a night out!!! So how much must he have spent on his night out? £100 . . . . £300 . . . . £500? And then some of them think that cab fares are too expensive after spending £X00 on a night out!!! The mind boggles!! |

It's back with it's rightful owner, they rang round all the cab firms in the area with no luck then they decided to give ours a call, my note was on the wall with my number on there. I've been for my dinner at the local Cavery joint, halfway through my phone rang, it was the guy who's wallet it was. I took it him over and the best thing about it is he grew up on the missus street and they all knocked about together. When he noticed my missus in the car he blushed and said I thought he'd lost it for good. Did he give me anything for taking it back?? Did he F**K. That's the last one I'm handing back in. The next one goes to the Police station the furthest away from this town, it will cost him more than what's in the wallet to get there to pick it up. That is the last time I go out of my way for anyone who's lost something F**K em. |

I suspect you have a bit of indigestion now. If you had handed it in would he not have had to give you a reward.

Like I said there's no more handing in round here, it's going further North or South. |

Call me cynical but perhaps he wasn't out last night just to enjoy himself perhaps there was a little business involved which would also explain why there was no such reward. It may not be his to give |
