In any court action involving licensing, is one of the parties involved Timbuktoo Borough Council or Timbuktoo Borough Council Licensing Dept? |

OK. So by that assertion, actions should be funded from the general account. Only actions in the name of Timbuktu (The name has been 'modernised'!) Borough Council licensing department could be funded from licensing surplus? Any views on this? |

The licensing budget can be used to finance licensing legal action, but not other council legal actions. |
