Hi - just wondering how many people on here work for companies versus how many work for themself - whether private or public hire? |

done both, im of the opinion that being on a circuit (renting a radio/etc) means your not self-employed in the true meaning of the phrase, if i had to id change to a hackney plate and rank up, ive a contract till 2013 though, its mine, im my own boss |

In my area I would say 80% of taxi/PH work for/with firms. |

I own/drive a licensed saloon taxi, working in a TOA, been with proprietor owned firms in past, but prefer where I am now. |

He did......... he was 'just wondering' what more do you need to know  We all wonder about things and sometimes without any real reason, well I do anyway

I worked for offices for 14 years and have worked the streets for three years, prefer the streets.Most of my work comes from sitting at train station(no permit required). |
