A FAMILY of former asylum-seekers have been given a £2.1m pad — at a cost to taxpayers of £8,000 a month. Somalis Abdi and Sayruq Nur and their seven kids moved into their three-storey town house in a posh London suburb last month. They were given the house after complaining their previous home was in a poor part of the capital. Mr Nur, 42, an unemployed bus conductor, and his 40-year-old wife, who has never worked, are now living in Kensington on state benefits. Their home is believed to be one of the most expensive in the country paid for by benefits. The Somalis previously lived in the capital's Kensal Rise area at a cost to the taxpayer of £900 a week. The family's five bed home is equipped with a fully-fitted kitchen and a 50in flatscreen TV. |

Why does'nt this government wise up to such an abuse of our national generosity and house these foreign moochers in Nissan hut style camps..im not talking concentration camp here but adequate and comfortable huts with enough accommodation for them and their extended families...then after 3 months if they find work they stay...or if they cant find gainful employment then send them back...Im fed up paying for these people. |
