not sure if this is the right area.................if it isnt i'm sorry
i have a friend thats been treated for depression an is on medication for it. will it stop him getting a taxi license?

No i do not think so,but i guess it would be up to his lo. Does he know would be joining the most depressing job going.Antidepressants are like smarties to taxi drivers :lol:

If he's under treatment for depression now I would suggest he thinks carefully about getting a badge this job can really get you down some days !

I think depression is all part of the trade. :sad:

But the council will want to get their medical man/woman to look at his records before a license is granted.

That said I'm not sure a person that suffers with depression before they start is going to do himself many favours. :sad:

I just don't understand why you would feel like that. I find people watching very entertaining and drunken people watching even more so :D

Well toots...you could possibly be very tolerant...or easily amused...or crazy...or alternatively........many of us might just be plain ol' grumpy b******s!

Assuming whatever keeps you "high" whilst out working is legal :shock: , you should bottle it...it'd be much cheaper and less harmful than anti-depressants (and it could even make you rich!). :wink:

I'm an easily amused, tolerant, crazy person. Not everything I do may be considered moral, but, it is certainly legal. You just have to look on the bright side, there is always one of those :D
