Apologies if this has already been posted (had a quick look / search didn't find anything)
Had a call from this lot yesterday, they said we had done work for them last year (we hadn't) they wanted a job from Crewe - Warrington, as I was talking to them I googled them http://www.coachhirebooking.co.uk/ scrolled to the bottom of the page and found out they were located in The Globe Centre, Accrington. When I mentioned Fraser Eagle to the girl on the phone she reacted with great horror and stated that they were nothing to do with them!!. Beware people.

I've slammed them on Facebook.

Just had a conversation with Craig one of the owners of Coach Hire Booking who assures me that his firm has no connections at all with Fraser Eagle / Connect Point, they were established a number of years ago and moved into the globe centre in 2007. He went on to add that none of the directors of the company were ever involved with Fraser Eagle. He tells me that all their coach suppliers are paid next day, and all taxi / private hire companies who they don't have an account with are paid in advance by credit card, he understands that Fraser Eagle went bust owing many many people including lots on this forum. I am happy to add this information to this forum, but at no point did I actually say that Coach Hire Booking were involved with or a reincarnation of Fraser Eagle, I was merely pointing out that this was a company with a similar business model and if members of this forum were to consider doing work for them they should consider any possible pitfalls and make sure they protect themselves.

I would like to add that we have just undertaken work for Coach Hire Booking, and payment was made up front and the whole process went very smoothly, hopefully these are one of the "good guys", and rest assured I will update the situation if it ever changes.

That's the way to continue then i.e. up front.

I still don't trust them, they are running out of the same office block as Fraser Eagle, they do the same work as Fraser Eagle, they speak like Fraser Eagle

Just watch out for the "we have now used you several times, how about an account". This IS exactly what FE did in the earlier days. There was a guy called Craig who DID work for FE, don't know if it is the same guy but, worth the risk????
