I find it strange that the owners of this site have chose to ban a member from accessing this site, particularly after the berated the owners of T&PH and TTF for taking similar action.

A member has been banned by their IP address, this is blatent censorship. The owners of this site should hang their heads in shame.

Bad form.

The sectretive admin of this site have an agenda which includes no-one but them. If they wanted to include you they would tell you who they were.

I very much doubt anyone has been banned, or else you wouldn't be able to put your post up.

That aside, again your memory is a little vague. Wasn't you the one who banned Tom Thumb on TTF2? Not because of anything he said or did, but because you thought he was someone else.

So please put your own house in order before having a pop at others.

My house is in order you scruffy little scumrat.

You have banned someone other than me you fifty faced southern softy, TTF and T&PH had a policy retaining the right to ban members, YOU didn't have such a thing on here, your site, so you clearly show a double standard.

Now get a grip you wanksplash.

No he banned me for being right.

Something that wasn't acceptable on TTF2.

Whta was it Mick. Oh yes I remember. You posted on your own site that a local operator was obviously passing bribes in brown paper bags to your council officers.

I posted saying that as you were the site owner you were exposing yourself to libel actions and you told me to get lost.

And then what happened? You never did tell me.

You haven't answered my point from the other day about who owns the site, a matter on which you seem to know more about than us, so your post is based on a false premise.

Alex is the forum adminstrator, and he decides on this. If it was up to me it would have been done differently, but I understand it was to do with someone acting in an intimidatory manner and clearing intending a member, their family or their property to come to some harm.

As a victim of this yourself you should understand this, but clearly anything goes with regard to your twisted sense of values.

The banned member was doing exactly what YOU were complaining about the other day, only in a clearly malicious manner, not trying to be civil, which was what YOU complained about.

You well know why he was banned, so your post is predictably hypocritical and merely trying to discredit the site for acting in an ethical manner.

Considering the amount of this kind of stuff of yours that is allowed to stay on the site then we can hardly be accused of censorship, at least not by rational, reasonable people.

I don't think anyone ever did what you claim - what was objected to was people like myself and Tom being banned merely because we were off-message or disagreed with you or told you where you were going wrong basically.

In essence, what was objected to was people being banned when a tantrum was thrown because they said something you didn't like.

Even more succinctly - CENSORSHIP

The banned member proves the secrecy point - who would want their identity know by the likes of Nigel Marchant (not to mention his friend Leroy  ) and yourself?

Not to mention similar union bully boys and the scummier end of the trade in general.

Oh dear

Ignoring the abuse, what's this rubbish about not being able to ban members?

The 'about forum' section of the site is quite clear on the issue, as it has been since the site was set up in 2003.

I know you'll stoop to any level to stop people posting and reading on here, including intimidation and persistent attempts to discredit the site, but although it's annoying, ultimately it's quite funny, and actually justifies setting up the site.

What's the significance of mentioning the IP address?

How else could members be banned?

If you don't block their IP they'll just reregister, or use another of their IDs, like Alf Richardson, say.

Personally, I'm all for giving Nidge another chance, and would prefer to view his removal as sin bin offence rather than a hanging one, but it's not up to me and frankly I'm not that interested.

I was banned because I was top poster, and it did not suit.

so after banning me it went down the tube, scanner came back like a spoiled child and wrecked it.
