Up until about 2 months ago I used to advertise my PH on a site called "Tourist Net"...I paid around £65 if i Recall rightly for a years listing and never knowingly got any response, this year I did not bother to buy their Listing as it seemed fruitless to do so.

Last years Listing is still in place even though Ive not Paid its renewal fee..

Now the Really odd thing is that I now start getting offers to Quote for Runs in my Area...these are very loose and unspecific as to where from and where to. I might be a Tad Cynical but I think that this sudden burst of interest has been generated from Tourist Net themselves in an effort to make me think their advertising really works!!! any of you guys any thoughts on this sales Tactic?

Certainly all the replys for quotes ive sent back have been more than competitive but not a single one has matured into a genuine acceptance to do a real journey..Damned fishy!!!

They are, IMO, all a con.

And we are all mugs for going along with it.

had the same thing when I tried yell .com out a few years ago nowt for a year but when I decided not to renew there was a flurry of "enquiries" and very similar with bt at the moment with a flood of initial enquiries all with false email addies although there has been a few genuine ones since
