Taxi Driver Online

I'm thinking about doing PH in the Glasgow area but would like to know a couple of things.

1...The 160quid to pay the council (ERC in my case) for a 3yr badge, what happens if after a month ect and its "not for me"...is any of it refunded?

2...What insurance do you need, obviously my ordinary ins wont cover, but is it much more expensive

3...How much should I/would I be expected to make it the first month or 2, as I'd need to hire/rent the car too which is afaik about 160pw

I'm not sure....and I'm sure sussex will come along and give you decent advice, my best offering is to get a abba CD, this disarms everyone.

1, Not usually

2, Yes PH insurance costs a fortune, look in the trade mags and phone around for quotes.

3, If your renting a car they would normally insure you, takings vary, your best asking those on the firm you intend to go to.

2. Taxi/PH insurance will cost you anything between £1,000 and £5,000. Go to the links page and get a quote from some on the list there.
3.Depends on how hard you work, and how many sh** hours you work. If you work seven long nights a week you will earn a few bob, however it will be others that spend it for you.
