Hi All, Im new to these forums and new to taxi driving been doing this just over 12mths now and have a quick question, in ur opinion what would be excessive mileage for the ££..... eg takings of £100 using 64 miles in ur opinion would u say this is acceptable for the £100 takings? thanks in advance for any responses and sorry if ive posted this in the wrong section

Sounds pretty good to me, we go to Heathrow 136miles round trip for £105!! |

However different areas have different ways of working. |

Sorry should have mentioned thats round town driving... local jobs.... i realise out of town jobs will result in higher mileage cause uve got to get back... but ty for confirming wot i thought  think the bloke im driving for is just being as ass

The game around town is earning £2 per mile so your 64 miles is pretty good, My Metrocab automatic over that distance would cost in deisel around £18 = £82 profit, try and better that 64miles too your £100 turnover although you have set a good target, in Edinburgh during rugby weekends i try and do £3 per mile, reaching this level means lots of small journey's but a higher profit margin is gained, making me very
