Earnings can vary widely for the same job in different industries, at different companies and in different geographical locations.
Quote:
London cabbies can earn about £30,000 to £40,000 a year, almost one-third more than the average for the occupation across the UK

Dont they mean 2 thirds more,
No wonder they can swan it to Norway or Sweden

If you knocked your discount on the head, you could afford it as well.

I earned less than half that and will probably decline further as the level of discounting goes up and up due to the overcapacity people are now starting to peice jobs at prices from 15 years ago ! I noticed yet another new driver in town today

Well the Knowledge is open to one and all if you are of good character and prepared to spend 3 years learning London.

I'll rent you my garage for £300 per calander month. I even have a C90 I can lend you.

That's one reporter that hasn't a clue!!!

I would guess the figure is more like double that for the average London cabbie, even in these hard times and almost treble that for a real grafter!!

It's a different world in the 'smoke'.

£80+K ?

You wouldn't have much life outside of a taxi if you were aiming for that much.

Stuff that for a game of soldiers.
