If anyone wishes to give her their views, then give her a ring, or post below.

Dear Sir/Madam

I am contacting you from the award winning independent documentary company RDF Media regarding a television series we are currently producing for the BBC about road rage.

Obviously road rage is now quite a problem in Britain with around 80% of people admitting to having been involved in a road rage incident. Our series aims to take on 6 – 8 road ragers and through a variety of different methods/therapies attempt to reform them.

Now I hope you don’t think at this point that I am suggesting taxi drivers/private hire drivers are necessarily all road ragers, I just wondered if road rage is an issue that has ever been raised by your members since your work is on the roads. Perhaps you have had a discussion forum on this subject, maybe taxi drivers have access to some kind of support group or maybe you have some interesting anecdotal knowledge that could be useful. It would be really helpful if I could put a post on your forum about the series or indeed include something in your newsletter if you have one. I would love the opportunity to discuss this with you further – I can be contacted on my direct line 0207 013 4291.

I hope to hear from you soon.

Best wishes,

Helen Crampton

just a quick point, anyone who is afflicted with road rage may of course at any time report it to their local authority, who in no doubt will be pleased to relieve you of your license.
