Taxi Driver Online

Just a quick heads up to let folk know about this website. Whilst trying to find information for a contact at my local train station, I came across the transport section for the station on the National Rail Enquiries website.

Not sure if it is any use to anyone, but I checked out the site www.traintaxi.co.uk that was listed at the "Taxi Rank" section.

Lists every station in the UK with upto 3 local companies that serve the station. When I checked, we weren't listed but if you click on feedback there is an email address to contact them.

I emailed them to ask to be listed due to having WAV's and the current three listings not having and they've told me when they next update the station details (supposedly every two weeks), I will be added to it.

They've never asked me for money for a subscription or anything, so hopefully it gets an extra hire or two put my way. Up until I came across it by total accident, I had never even heard of it, so don't see the harm if it is free!

Anyone else not heard of them before, or is it just me who is in a world of my own on this?!?!

I think I checked this out before they have an information poster up at the local station there is a listing fee involved I believe

Have not heard back from them about being charged or anything, doesn't mention it on their website. Will let you all know once I notice they have updated my local station.

I contacted these people a couple of months ago and they now listed me on my nearest station Fareham. So we now got 4
