Eric Egan, 11 Fereneze Drive, Paisley

Mr Egan, the applicant, and his representative, Mr Connelly, were invited into the meeting. After consideration of all matters before the Board, the Board adjourned to allow members to consider the application for renewal of a Taxi Operator’s Licence; the variation of a Taxi Operator’s Licence; the application for renewal of a Taxi Driver’s Licence; and the request for exemption from assisting wheelchair passengers.

The meeting was reconvened and the Convener proposed that Mr Egan’s application for renewal of a Taxi Operator’s Licence be granted for a period of two years and that he be exempt from operating a wheelchair accessible vehicle; that Mr Egan’s Taxi Operator’s Licence be varied to Renfrewshire; that Mr Egan’s application for renewal of a Taxi Driver’s Licence be granted for a period of two years; and that Mr Egan’s request for exemption from assisting wheelchair passengers be granted for the duration of his current Taxi Driver’s Licence. This was agreed unanimously.
