If customers are using other firms, then find out why. If the customer base isn't there, then you need to make one. |

What Market Research have you done? In other words. Have you tried to find out how much business there is out there and who is currently filling it. How many people actually go to the Airport, by other means, and would they be prepared to pay for a Taxi, should there be one available? How many people use the Bus into town and would they be prepared to pay for a Taxi, should there be one available? How will you tell people of your amazing new service and will it generate sufficient extra business to pay for the cost of telling them. And Mostly ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Why do the present Crew really need a new Partner if their current Vehicle Fleet is underused? |

A bloke did a similar thing in Dorset some years ago, he bought a 30k TX so the 25 other people in his village had a cab service, I don't think it lasted long, as you have 2000 folks but also have rivals I don't see you going anywhere fast, in fact I think someone has mugged you off tbh. Anyway top marks for trying to better yourself and I hope I'm wrong and you get a living from it, but sheer lack of numbers say it's going to be uphill for you both to get the phone to ring and to increase the car count, i just can't see where expansion is going to come from with a 2000 strong potential customer base, be very careful before you go laying out money on white elephants. |

Personally I would have done my homework before I bought in.... but then someone wanting me to buy in would probably have told me the firm was not making money... |

From my own personal experience... I have always found.... that partnerships are the only ships that don't sail.... but I wish you well.. good luck.. |

Do a leaflet drop of the local area with A5 leaflets outlining your prices and phone number. Give it a few weeks then you'll be able to guage what work is coming in. |
