its actually quite condescending to imagine every person in a chair needs to be pushed up a ramp and strapped down like a pallet on a truck........

I agree, and most chair bound folks I meet want to come with me in the saloon, my theory is it's like a temporary escape from the chair, something else for consideration, a frog may live in water, but sometimes he likes to sit on a rock.
