regarding the 100% WAV/hack requirements of some LA's, i did ambulance service PTS work for several years including taking 1 guy to hospital 3 times a week 52 weeks of the year, he was in a wheelchair but never got sent a WAV, he used to transfer to my cars front seat and his chair went in the boot. If anyone should have been a guaranteed WAV passenger it was him.

its actually quite condescending to imagine every person in a chair needs to be pushed up a ramp and strapped down like a pallet on a truck........

still, the planners know best

I agree, and most chair bound folks I meet want to come with me in the saloon, my theory is it's like a temporary escape from the chair, something else for consideration, a frog may live in water, but sometimes he likes to sit on a rock.

if choice is a human right shouldnt those in wheelchairs have the choice?....
