ive got 3 pupils onboard, my route includes a stretch of single lane country road over cannock chase, not a great road, high hedges, dodgy passing places, bends, so i dont rush, im never late, i do it 6 days a week, so when chummy is on my back bumper in his tarted up MG rover 200, i just keep to my timetable/route, he seems upset, when a 4x4 comes towards me i hit my brakes, chummy had barely enough time/space to avoid hitting me, approaching the school drive chummy's head is out his window hurling abuse at me! i must get front and rear cctv why didnt i pull over and let him pass? cos if he had hit anything ahead of me the lane woulda been impassable and i have been stuck for 2 hours...... how do i join a monastery, quiet contemplation (and no wife) seem a safer bet to me |

Let him go mate and let someone else worry about what happens in the future. If the worst of things happen i.e he has a bump and you are late then you have 1) A genuine late excuse 2) one ar$ehole off the road for some time leaving you free 3) plenty of time for him to think about cooling his aggravation as he will not be wanting to do that too many times. |

Shame you didn't get his registration number you could write to the traffic division of your local police then. They wouldn't do aything about the individual incident BUT they might enter his registration on the list of vehicles to look out for which means he might get a tug from an ANPR fitted vehicle or be followed once or twice by a squad car might make him a little more careful |

Most police sites now have sections where you can leave details of things like this. I use it all the time reporting Limos. Makes my life so much better.

I may just be a soppy old t*** (no need for comments thanks) but despite having had some surprisingly rare and valuable loads on my vans (1 old master painting and 5 pallets of mobile phones, oh, and 3 pallets of fags) i still think kids are the most valuable load anyone can carry, more so when they arent mine, ill be fkd if im gonna be forced into driving 1 mph faster than i think safe.... |
