Post subject:  Life is very fragile.............

After the carnage on the M5 you would hope many would take note and slow down a bit.....


My mate of 30+years didnt reply to texts for a few days, then yesterday he did, he drives a 7.5tonner and coming off the M1 north at j28 he was waiting to get onto the island and................suddenly its 15 minutes later and a paramedic is putting a neck brace on him, he doesnt remember what happened but there was an artic rammed in the back of his truck and a jag halfway under his front bumper where he had been pushed and knocked out.....so he had 2 days in Mansfield hospital

Heard about that one the other day on the Radio, I hope he's OK after his stay in Kings Mill, they don't usually come out of there walking.

Yes I see from the news tonight that witnesses were describing thick black smoke billowing across the carriageway the equivalent of running into a bank of dense fog from a firework display adjacent to the motorway :roll: I think the organisers of that have a few questions to answer after all they banned farmers from burning stuble due to the hazards caused to road users
