I don't think he was tbh, there are some countries in Eastern Europe where the young kill the old when they become a money and time drain, envy and jealousy I see in abundance, in Nigeria they send girl to Italy to work as prostitutes under the guise of the spirits who will be angry if the girl fails to provide the money to the pimp for setting it up, they have these girls believing they are pleasing some god and they are under that gods control until they clear their debt to the pimp, they are so scared of upsetting this god they will do virtually anything they are told, I think Mark Twain saw clearly and precisely myself.
