Is it me or is this getting to be a more gentlemanly version of GBC vs red tel where every thread that one posts in the other has to have a go albeit using actual reasoned argument instead of a string of insults ! entertaining certainly good for the forum I doubt it

I think we should hold a virtual sweepstake as to which one will drive the other off the forum personally my money would be on the Dusty bin to win in 2 weeks

Any advance on 2 weeks

TBH I don't need this anymore so I think it's time to remove myself anyway.

If it came down to getting banned of course it would be me to go, the guy who runs the site isn't going to ban one of his ego's is he.

One thing I noticed, I didn't come back to get into it with folks, but hey ho it's happened anyway.

And thx for sitting up all night last night Dusty awaiting my return from the pub to provoke me once again.

I don't think there is anything I can add to what I've already written here since returning regarding the shape of the future, but I will say for a long time there has been a movement in this country to shape public opinion and make people dependent on the state, it's called purchasing the vote and at local levels it's rife I'm afraid, well for those who still can't work out why the world is degrading away well I guess you never will will you, it all comes down to taking short cuts to get your own way, but that short cut always comes at a price, and I'm afraid quite a few folks are now bought and paid for.

So take care everyone, and I guess we'll see what's what some time in the new year.

TBH I'm quite happy for it to continue as it might lead the Bin to do a M&R Part 2, and send it to the Law Commission. 8-[

Typical - you come home bladdered and start ranting and raving, but it's my fault for coming home from a hard night's toil on the ranks and responding to you ](*,)

Despite all the abuse and what not I actually agree with quite a lot that you say, the problem is that you go well over the top at times on the one thing that we certainly disagree on and that has to be robustly responded to rather than just ignored, because otherwise it just gives people the impression that people can say anything and get away with it.

But I hope you don't go just because of a few spats. I actually take much of it with a pinch of salt and view much of it as tongue-in-cheek, although I'm not sure if it's intended that way 8-[

A lot of it is tongue in cheek, and no fear mate I'm not unstable enough to hold grudges, I just think I'm going round in circles so it's best I clear off for a while and step back a bit, I've just read the LC minutes that MrT kindly posted up and it would seem there are plenty of people who are thinking my way involved in it anyway, even Mick Hildreth raised a good point, not that I know Mick but being as who he is I wouldn't expect him to be speaking anything in my favour, but he has it would seem, he sees that things aren't the same city to city and raised a good point imo.

Anyway, you'll have to find new foil to spar with now for a while as I am tired of it, so until I feel the need to comment on here again, be well and thx for the argeement comment, I don't see your usual replies pointing that way though, so if you agree with me a lot of the time wouldn't it be easier to just say so?

Bye.

In fact I've said quite a few times over the last few days that I agree with a lot of what you say.

Which indeed is unusual because it's bad netiquette just to post simply to say that you agree with something.

It's in the nature of the beast that most responses on here will be disagreeing with what's being responded to, ie debate and discussion.
