i went to a taxi firm today for a job got my self nice y reg mondeo and we went through costs etc foe my insurence 2500 pound and for radio 125 quid and diesel bout 100 quid am just bit unsure as this guys english wasnt to good please an anyone give us ruff guide am sure insurence got be cheaper am 24 4 year no claims if anyone can help me out it would be greatfully helpfull lol

I think you've mentioned all the main ones: - Car purchase or lease - Office fees - Fuel - Insurance The other big expense is repairs and maintenance. This might not be too bad if you are lucky, but some drivers I've know have had such bad luck with motors that it's put them out of business, so good luck in this regard. There are a few other expenses such as driver and vehicle licenses and road tax, but you will presumably have paid them already, and when they come up the next time they're not the end of the world. But if you don't have a stash of cash, try to build up a pool for unexpected disasters with the car. |
