Hi
I have just sat my second knowledge test to find out yesterday have failed  . I have asked the council if there is any guidence on what you need to study like some other councils do, the reply was no you are responsible for your own study.

so to be covered you need to learn the whole of Doncaster which is a very large Town

is there anybody on here who has passed the test or is studying for the test can give me any sort of help or guidence

thankyou in advance
Dan

I can't cos I don't know the place myself, but it's nice to see an authority taking it seriously, good luck in making the grade and the only advice I can give you is to get out on a treader and ride round and round one area at a time making mental notes of what you see, might take a few weeks but once you have learned it you'll be flying through to a badge.

I can't believe there isn't some sort of knowledge school in your area.

Have you enquired?

There are lots of 'training' via NVQ suppliers here and as you may have guessed a lot of the union reps/members are assessors

Hi
I had another taxi knowledge test today!! I feel confident i have passed but have that small doubt in my mind, as on the regulations part there were 2 questions that were not in the regulations pack supplied by council, so answered them on comen sense rather than being revised..

question : WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU LOST YOUR BADGE?

A: I would inform the police & council office asap

question : WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF MEMBER OF PUBLIC WAS WAVING THEIR ARMS AT YOU FOR YOU TO STOP?

A: You could stop as it may be an emergancy but you must not take as a paying passanger unless pre booked

What you think guy's correct or incorrect ??????

cheers
Dan

If you go to the primary school not far from the RAF base, and lift the drainage grill directly outside the main gate, you may find the half crown I lost there in 1961 :D
