OKay, I cant resist; the best goal by a keeper ever;

Jimmy Glass may not be the most prolific scorer in the list, but he arguably scored the most important goal of all. Whilst on loan at Carlisle United from Swindon Town Glass found himself in a final day nail-biter where only a win would see his side be saved from relegation out of the football league. With injury-time ticking away and the score at 1-1, Glass went up for a corner and volleyed the ball into the back of the net. 3000 jubilant home fans then ran on to the pitch to mob him. Despite only ever playing three games for The Blues he will go down in Cumbrian folklore.

I remember that day well, you were on your way down when he came up and scored.

thats a good few years ago now but I seem to recall there was a goalie at one of the top clubs who got on the score sheet at least once a season a few years back

Goals by goalkeepers should only be counted as such if the keeper has scored from inside his own half in my opinion. I particulaly like the one scored by Peter Shilton many years ago.
