I mean, if I won that sort of money I'd keep on taxiing. It's the driver cameraderie I'd miss, not to mention those nice, appreciative and highly civilised people who've been out for a quiet drink and need transport home at 2am. |

Well I'd have the whole lot lodged in the Banquo del Caymen quicker than Sky News could put my name on the telly. I'd do one more nightshift, throwing chips and bits of kebab over everyone who gets in. At the end of each trip, I'd pay the punters whats on the meter (+ a tip of course )Then I'd park the cab in the middle of Union Street, right on Union Bridge, lock it and throw the keys down into Union Terrace Gardens. Then I'd get a taxi to Aberdeen Airport and fly off into the sunset, having given the driver the biggest tip he's ever heard of. Now, Bermuda or Tahiti? Decisions, decisions.......... |
