School Transport sent out a procedure notice (snow)
Till now, a driver/base could look at the roads and decide to request a school release pupils early to ensure they get home
NOW, we have to ring transport, who will then ring the school, and seek advice from the headteacher, maybe get them to ring back, then transport will ring the operator and say yea or ney
firstly i can see the chain of communication broken and i for one aint putting a snowplough on to get to the school and take the kids home, they will have to sleepover
even that poor plan falls apart when you have a school that works saturdays and transport staff that dont....
should i suggest to transport that they make a staff member work saturdays?.....lol
