a truck drifts across the lanes on an island

hits me

but HE claims for damages and my insurers feel a 50/50 payout is best each way


THIS is why premiums are so high

So does that mean you get a 50/50 payout for your damages, losses, injuries, mental health breakdowns and undisclosed other issues?

all that plus loss of use, loss of earnings, repairs, contract cover, loss of no claims bonus, replacing my broken iphone and rolex watch.....

ITS PITY SOMEONE DIDNT WITNESS THE INCIDENT...................

You should have asked for a witness before. I am sure someone on here may have seen the incident. :wink:

I hope you have put a claim in against them then ! It wouldn't surprise me if they aren't insured by the same company it can make a big difference as I found to my cost years ago

The wagon driver will say you got on his blind side. 99.9% of claims against wagon drivers end up losing because they use the blind side rule.

if he didnt see me it wasnt his blind side, i was PAST him, almost, his front driver side bumper corner brushed my passenger rear wheel arch

his wagon was the same size as the 7.5t i used to drive, i know what can be seen,,,,,

So he was in a 7.5 then? I thought you meant a LGV wagon driver?

no nige, i said his truck was no bigger than my old 7.5t, his was a small tipper, like the old class 3, maybe a 17t, not an artic, still big enough and had lights and indicators none of which he felt the need to use
