I am trying to see how much train station permit prices are up and down the country, this will give us an idea if we are getting value or not.

I don't know if you can comare permits in terms of value, because chances are the higher the price the more work you'll get, and vice versa.

Shouldn't be a price Issue for permits in Edinburgh Waverly soon...they want to ban anything with Wheels from going in there. I'm sure if they could get away with banning trains and Customers as well they'd give it a try...Prats.

Brighton Station £440 a year.

And the independent drivers that use it would, IMO, pay more than double for the work they get out of it.

A lot of the stations are now advertised in PHM, and they range from £260-£450.

That could be good thing for all those that work out of stations and airports, just charge the punters to recoup the permit charges
But how many councils allow this, or should the question be how many wont allow this and need to change

While I can't say that I approve of the practise.

Surely, if you wish to do Trade on their Forecourt, owned and maintained by them, surely it is only fair that they get a cut of the action.

They should not be able to charge you to use the Public Highway, though. I don't think that they are, although I'm sure that we would challenge them if they did.
