Better they Panic buy now when it can be replaced at the forecourt than later after the strike starts..if it does?

At least once their cars are full they cant put in any more than they use.

All filling stations should put up signs saying £50 min that would stop the £4.00 jobs in there tracks

There is no panic buying in the Borders as folk dont have the money to fill up all the time

Its not the locals Skip....Its the cars that usually pass through without stopping in our wee toon.

And by some strange quirk our local petrol station has gone from one of the most expensive to the cheapest by way of the others upping their prices...and thats luring in the passers by even more.

If it does kick off like the last time Taxis will get priority. When it kicked off in 2000 Morrisons round here was nominated as the garage for Doctors, Nurses and Taxis to fill up. No other motorists were allowed.

What about the cars that have smaller fuel tanks? Are they supposed to pour the excess on the floor?

£50 only buys about 35 litres these days. How many cars have a tank smaller than that?

A better plan would be "no fuel containers" :P
