I contacted Frazer Nash yesterday to see when the cab is going into production, there reply

Thank you very much for your interests in our taxis.

Apologies that we cannot disclose too much at this moment. Kindly be assured that we are working on a new and improved design with vastly improved drivetrain and technologies which will go into production.

Appreciate it if you could provide us a bit of your background and interests so that we could keep you in our database and when appropriate to send you additional information.

With warmest regards

William Chia

If the metro-cab was resurrected and fitted with the most up to date Toyota engine I am sure it would sell well, considering the TX is known to be a heap of sheit

till the oil runs out, and dont forget that not long back rapeseed oil was gonna replace standard deisel (remember?) so we then get Hdi/Tdci engines that cant use biodeisel, coincidence?......i dont think so

my mk5 cortina was as comfortable as my 2006 mondeo, it was quieter, didnt need anything in 2 years, no £1000 dmf/clutch/etc/etc and i got 90% of what it cost me back when i sold it, but things are better now arent they

yeah right things better nowadays don't think so in this day and age cars are built to generate an income stream for the manufacturer when cars like the Cortina were around they were built to be mechanically straightforward and easy to maintain
