Skippy this is technology that dates back to WW2 it is very easy to convert water and co2 into methanol and then convert that to suitable other liquids BUT it is pricey and energy intensive it could solve the worlds co2 emmission problems but we have to build several thousand nuclear power stations to produce the power needed to do it !

The most efficient way to deal with land fill methane is to use it to generate power using specially adapted diesel engines which can run on methane that's what they do at Stewartby and many of the bigger land fill sites

Why not just stick a tube up your jacksy connected directly to the inlet manifold and then sit and eat beans all day...Im sure you could get a few mile to the tin.

Unfortunately most of what comes out of our mouths is verbal diarrhea and CO2 which engines can't run on so not at the moment

BUT if we could all capture our exhaled co2 mix it with water and turn it into methanol we just might get from Lands End to Penzance !!
