Hi all, Just wondering, what is the strangest car you have seen plated? (Either as PH or Hack) I'll start the ball rolling.. round here there is a 58 Reg Jaguar X Type, 3.0 V6 plated for PH. Fair enough for airport work, executive clients etc but it's out all the time doing the usual shoppers, drunks, etc. Can't imagine the MPG being decent! Or repairs/servicing costs! |

They were still walking 10 minutes later as I passed them enroute to their hotel with another 1/2 a mile to go.

Not sure if it is still around, but a couple of years ago there was a new Bentley in Padstow, Cornwall. Looked totally out of place with a plate on it. |

Rav 4s in Brum; a few of them. And a few 2-door Fiestas by mistake a year or so ago. |

My local licencing officer refused to licence my Range rover as a PH car because "he didn't like jeep type vehicles", so it ran on a psv licence for 3 years to wind him up. |

The village of Clovelly in North Devon has a hackney plated Landrover for taking lazy sods up and down the hill by passing the pedestrain only cobbled street down to the harbour. It effectively uses the "taxi bus" rules as I understand. |
