Looks very glitzy, a few good artists

But why oh why load it up with has beens, druggies and Cottager's

George Michael

Naomi Campbell

Kate Moss

Fatboy Slim

The chick singing the money song almost burst out laughing as she started to sing (something J iirc) probably the thought of all those that have done their bollocks on this gave her the giggles, then she almost fell out the RR as the driver couldn't make the world reknown best car move off without jerking it (borrowed him from AL no doubt and it felt odd compared to the Galaxy)

For me it's kinda good, but I'm an old fart, for youngsters watching I guess the choice of artist is a 50/50 depending on if mum constantly player the Older CD while doing the napppies.

Queen (without jessie j) should have closed it with "We will rock you" and "We are the champions" with maybe paul rodgers or maybe Gary Cherone singing

Tbh we would not have got a bronze for the first three out of four singers.............The madness guy has well lost it and unfortunately so did Ray Davies from the Kinks - there was a third "apparent" singer who was sheiet and then came along a couple of guys (youngsters) who were quite good.................wtf were they thinking of ( and yes I am an oldie) when they tried digging up the past (singers) who were good in their day! but who have well and truly lost it know.

An awesome choreography graphed show, but the choice of singers (apart from "Take That") left a lot to be desired.

Tremendous effort by Gary Barlow to actually appear, wish the The Who had done "We wont get fooled again", thankfully no Cliff Richard or Macca, the Spice Girls shoulda stayed at home, Muse were good, Annie Lennox.....no comment, BUT, no Stones, no Quo, no Sabbath, no LedZep, tut tut

I thought the closing show was excellent.....I particularly liked the use of the iconic London Taxi at frequent intervals.......a vehicle they specifically excluded from olympic lanes

Wasn't as good as the opening ceremony, but I still enjoyed it very much.

As I did the sports bit in-between.

A bike is out of the question Wannabeahack - no bridge long enough - rowing?

Do you need directions, my marine navigation is spot on - wish I was as good in a Cab.

Try and not think of the greedy money makers but think instead of those that have achieved and even more so those that took part and gave it their best, just because they could :D

For which we selflessly financially indulged many of our highly paid sporting professionals to aim for.
