My good friend/client that owns the cabs I drive has had a mishap! On Saturday he had a runner and gave chase. In so doing he ripped a calf muscle and now is in plaster! He was warned he may not be able to drive for some weeks. Fortunately the bulk of his income comes from his drivers (seriously - he is one of the good guys!) and he is "comfortable" but I fear a lot of drivers would come a real cropper financially in these circumstances. A Personal Accident Insurance correctly arranged can be money well spent - talk to your broker/insurer! Lucky me though, I,m in the hack on Satruday nights now instead of the PH for the time being |
